A CREATIVE AND CONVENIENT SOURCE FOR CARDS, INVITATIONS, AND MORE…

I am a card girl. I have a drawer FULL of paper cards. Sometimes finding the perfect card is NOT easy. Or, the selection for certain occasions is very limited. I buy these little treasures not only when an occasion is on the horizon, but when I come across them. The perfect card that reminds me of someone, or, simply because I loved the message and knew I wanted to share it.
The drawback to purchasing cards so far before an occasion is that I have, at times, completely forgotten about them! Another challenge, I’m sorry to say, is our postal service. I write and postcards at least one week before an occasion, and still, they have sometimes arrived late, or are not delivered at all!
Paperless post is an online source for ANY CARD, INVITATION, OR FLYER you could possibly need. And, some you don’t need that are fun to send anyways.
HOW IT WORKS
The first step is to create an account by entering an email address and creating a password. You purchase ‘coins’ from Paperless Post, and each card costs a certain number of coins. The coin price (per recipient) is based on the options you have chosen. Options include envelope liners and card inserts; these can be added or removed. Coin packages can be purchased when you are ready to send your post.
CHOOSE YOUR DESIGN
Once your account is activated, you can select the occasion you need a card for, or browse the categories for general inspiration. You can even click on, and save the designs you like, to your ‘favorites’ folder (it’s indicated by a heart icon).
Categories include:
-Birthday
-Wedding
-Parties
-Professional
-Cards
-Flyers
Each of these categories has sub-categories! Like I said, any card. And the best part – you can create your cards or invitations right from your home office. No need to drive from shop to shop looking at cards.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Once you have determined the category of your occasion, select a template and have fun trying different layout options. Paperless Post is a playground for those who love to create, and a great place for those needing inspiration and direction. You can change many elements of your design: backgrounds, colours, fonts, envelope styles. You can even choose a stamp design.
INCLUDED IN THE COLLECTION ARE CREATIONS FROM DESIGNERS SUCH AS KATE SPADE!
Having recently moved, my husband and I decided we would like to have some friends over to help us celebrate and check out the new place. I selected ‘Housewarming party invitations’ and was immediately directed to the relevant pages of options.
We have a custom-made bar in our home, so I searched (yes, you can), specifically for cards with ‘bar’ themes. Photo cards are also an option within all categories to add a personal touch.
MANAGE YOUR EVENT
Event page settings allow you to show your guest list and add a comment wall.
We’re so excited to see everyone and show you our new little spot in the country.
Please leave a message on the comment wall!
Include additional information for your guests:
A buffet of salad items and cold appetizers will be served, as well as beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Please park vehicles along the side of the driveway.
Housewarming gifts are unnecessary. If you must bring something, please consider food for the birds, a song to share with them, or a plant for the land.
Thank you
Here is another example I created:
I was delighted to see the many vintage-inspired artworks included in the collection!
The only difficulty I experienced was having to make a decision!
SO…..MANY….CHOICES!

These are really cute! I searched through four different shops recently for a card and I still couldn’t find one I loved. Personification is the way to go!

Great idea! I used to browse the card section and buy several at a time for “future.” And then–forget I had them! These days, I mostly send electronic cards, too, and these paperless versions look like a great option.

These are fab and even more so that you can completely customise them. I think I would get lost for hours creating!

This is so clever. I am very much paperless wherever I can. I haven’t sent a paper card in years. I love this idea.

Love that it saves paper but still looks great.

While I love stationery, I’m not very good at mailing things anymore. These paperless cards seem perfect for so many reasons!

I’m so old school with paper cards too. I have drawers and totes filled with memories. I’ll have to look into the paperless post. Much less clutter and no wasting of paper. Thanks for sharing your samples with us.

I’m sure you will love Paperless Post, Kamira.

I love this idea and because I live far from my family unfortunately I have stopped with greeting cards but you have now made me rethink that decision.

This service seems like a great choice for holiday cards. I am not a fan of sending out holiday cards, so it would be nice if they added festive winter card options for a paperless option. I like how you can customize the text too. That would allow for a quick annual update without having to read the multi-page bragging letters that I sometimes see. LOL!

Nice way to do a small event I think … like a birthday maybe?
Amelia Johnson says
I used to have a membership in a card company and could personalize the cards with pictures and schedule the mailing date…but like you say, it’s almost like you have to schedule two weeks in advance to be sure the card gets there in time. Thanks for providing another solution.

I use a lot of electronic cards but I do still love paper cards, especially when they’re unique like these. I love that bottom card, the funky birthday card for Jocyln, that’s so cool! This sounds like a really nice service, thanks for sharing.
