WE’VE BEEN HIBERNATING

May 5, 2017 | 40 Comments

After a much-needed break – Doctor’s orders, we’re back!

(Jack) Enjoying a much-needed rest

First, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the messages from our followers. The fact that you checked in with us and offered us your well wishes means the world. We’ve missed you too!

It was difficult for me to step away from my laptop and although I wanted to connect with you each week and participate in the A to Z challenge this year, I realized that health (mental and physical) comes before all else. I have learned to prioritize and find a balance between job number one, the job for fun, and of course, family (importance in reverse order).

No one wants needs to hear the details of why we were absent. Suffice to say, Dogma has recovered after surgery, and during that time I had a chance to spend quality time with the new guy (Jack) and his siblings as well as research some new tips, tricks, treats and toys with you. For them and in the future, for you too! Pet people like tips, treats, and toys as well. At least this one does!

As always, I look forward to hearing from you,

I can’t say you haven’t piqued my curiousity, but it’s good to know all is well (better at least) and getting back to normal – whatever that is!! Look forward to your tips!

Welcome back 🙂 You were missed and good to see you but as you said you needed to step back and prioritize which makes perfect sense plus put your health first, I need a lesson from you with that one. Cannot wait for the tips and reviews of yours as I always love them.

Have a wonderful weekend with a woof from Layla xxx

Welcome back. I know regulra readers miss their favourite blogs – being popular has an upside – people want to know you are OK 🙂

Sometimes taking a break will allow you to come back fresh and full of new ideas! Good luck over the next few months.

Sometimes we get signs it’s time to slow down, if they aren’t heeded, the signs become too serious to ignore. Glad you took the time needed to heal and come back better than ever. Welcome back!

Welcome back! Sometimes we all need to take a step back to reevaluate and recuperate. Glad to hear you got to take that time and get back on track. Looking forward to “seeing” you around!

Welcome back! So glad that you are feeling good again after surgery. It is amazing how important health is. I know I often took it for granted. I too have been on and off this year and will actually be taking 3 weeks to visit my parents after Blog Paws. Hope to get together when I get back in June. XS

I’m glad to hear that things are getting better! Medical issues are always difficult. When one person (or pet) in a home is suffering, everyone in the home suffers. It is tough to step away from everything, but it is great that you followed your doctor’s recommendations. Sometimes rest is the best thing. I hope that things only get better and better for you from here!
